Millimeter tank

I recently described a battle in Cold War Commander and the announcement of Armoured Thrust which may indicate that I will increase (or decreased depending on how you look:}) the calibre of my military operations. Since my workshop is currently dominated by a 15mm this will be a small break showing that I am considering those systems more or less seriously.

Any such system must have tanks, and even then I do not need I can not imagine the combat system that does not have tanks.

Oto dwa prototypy które przygotowałem z myślą o systemach w skali 2~3mm.

Here are two prototypes that I have prepared for 2 ~ 3mm scale wargames

As usual, the main assumptions are simplicity of design and use as much "junk" as possible.

Będziemy potrzebować :
We will need:

Kawałka wypraski po figurkach ( ja używam starych wyprasek po warzonie)
Peace of plastic that plastic figures are cut from ( I don't know the proper word for this thing ;/ ) I used an old WARZONE peace.

Kawałka płaskiego plastiku o grubości ok 1mm
Flat piece of plastic with a thickness of about 1mm

Prętu plastikowego ( do nabycia w sklepie modelarskim cena 2zł za 50cm)
Plastic rod (available from your hobby store) 1mm thick

Patyczka po lizaku
A lollipop stick

Kleju, pilnika i narzędzi do cięcia
Glue, Rasp and cutting tools

  1. Przycinamy wypraskę tak aby miała 9mm długości.
Cut the plastic peace so that it is 9mm long.
Round its two bottom shorter sides so that it has a smooth rounding going from the bottom to the top.
Grind the sides of molding a file in order to obtain the letter T with a thick middle and tiny shelves at the top.
  4. Z kawałka płaskiego plastiku wycinamy dwa prostokąty i zaokrąglamy ich końce ( patrz zdjęcie) dokładne wymiary zależą od preferencji ja polecam wycinać prostokąty o wysokości wypraski i takiej samej długości.
From the flat piece of plastic cut two rectangles and round the ends (see photo), exact dimensions depend on the preferences, I recommend cutting rectangles of the same length and height as the tank body.
Cut a ring with a height of about 1mm from the lollipop stick and stick it on top of the body.
  6. Do tak powstałej wieży przyklejamy lufę (ok 3 mm) którą wycinamy z plastikowego prętu
Cut a 3mm long gun barrel from the plastic rod and attach it to the lollipop tower.
  7. Na tył czołgu przyklejamy mały kawałek plastiku (opcjonalne)
To the back of the tank, stick a small piece of plastic (optional)
Końcowy efekt ma ok 9mm długości i 5mm wysokości.
The end result is about 9mm long and 5mm high.

No i gotowe :} w 15 minut można zrobić kilka takich czołgów i spokojnie mieć czym zaczynać pierwsze rozgrywki :}.

In 15 minutes you can make a few of these tanks and have something to start the first game:}. The Caterpillar chassis can also be used as a base for various types of other units such as rocket artillery, APC and other.

  1. OMG, to jak masturbacja drutem kolczastym! :D

Tzn. jak zrobiłem niszczyciel to zrobiłem go z takich części aby móc zrobić dokładnie kolejne takie sam.
