Dzisiaj chcielibyśmy przedstawić pięć nowych zestawów w skali 6 mm, które już niebawem będą dostępne do gry Bogowie wojny – Lee. Wszystkie zaliczyły opóźnienia, związane z różnymi technicznymi problemami, ale wreszcie – z wielką przyjemnością – chcielibyśmy pokazać żywiczne odlewy – matki – do tych figurek.
Te zestawy to:
- Kawaleria Konfederacji.
- Kawaleria Unii.
- Znaczniki patroli/ukrytych jednostek dla Konfederacji.
- Znaczniki patroli/ukrytych jednostek dla Unii.
- Milicja Unii.
Zacznijmy od zestawów 1 i 3.
Kawaleria Konfederacji i znaczniki patroli/ukrytych jednostek dla Konfederacji.

| Kawaleria Konfederacji Confederate cavalry |
Zestaw zawiera 2 rzeźby kawalerzystów, oficera (z lornetką w ręku), trębacza i chorążego. Szeregowi zostali wyrzeźbieni w pozach harcowników. Wzorem dla nich jest rycina, przedstawiająca strzelających kawalerzystów. Zamiast szarżować prowadzą oni walkę ogniową, w dodatku z siodła. Ponieważ na rynku znajdują się już figurki kawalerzystów w skali 6 mm czy to stojących, czy szarżujących, chcieliśmy stworzyć coś nowego, atrakcyjnego, a jednocześnie prawidłowego historycznie. Stąd inspiracja tą ryciną.
Jednocześnie te same figurki posłużą do powstania drugiego, bardzo potrzebnego zestawu – markerów ukrytych jednostek i patroli.
Dotychczas jako markery używane były wydrukowane kółeczka, co nie do końca jest estetyczne. Jakiś czas temu wprowadziliśmy do produkcji okrągłe podstawki o średnicy 3 cm – wszystko to z myślą właśnie o tym zestawie.
Zestaw patroli będzie zawierał 8 oficerów i 8 sztandarowych. Na sztandarze najlepiej umieścić numer znacznika/patrolu. W ten sposób patrole będą bardzo estetyczne na polu bitwy.
Oczywiście będzie można je mieszać z innymi figurkami dla osiągnięcia efektu estetycznego. Mamy nadzieję, że takie rozwiązanie przypadnie Wam do gustu.

Analogicznie jak w zestawie kawalerii Konfederacji mamy dwóch szeregowych w pozycjach strzeleckich, oficera z szablą i rewolwerem, trębacza i chorążego. Ponownie chorąży i oficer będą dostępni w osobnym zestawie dla patroli Unii.

Wreszcie ostatni zestaw – Milicja Unii.

To klasyczny zestaw piechoty – 5 różnych pasków z szeregowymi, pasek dowodzenia z szeregowym, dwoma chorążymi i oficerem oraz osobny pasek z doboszami.
Chcieliśmy, aby milicjanci otrzymali osobne, fajne figurki. Problemem było to, że bardzo szybko milicja stanowa zaczęła nosić te same mundury, co armia regularna (w Unii) lub to, co było dostępne (w Konfederacji – jak armia regularna). Aby ich odróżnić zdecydowaliśmy się wykorzystać mundury noszone w 1861 roku, czyli na początku wojny, przez 7 pułk milicji stanowej z Nowego Jorku. Mundury były nieco innego kroju, a dodatkowo były szare (oprócz oficerów)! Aby ułatwić rozpoznawalność jednostek milicji na polu bitwy zdecydowaliśmy się wyposażyć żołnierzy w plecaki. Wtedy nawet gdy milicjanci zostaną pomalowani w niebieskie barwy, będzie ich bardzo łatwo odróżnić za sprawą plecaków. W trakcie wojny secesyjnej żołnierze zawsze zdejmowali plecaki idąc do boju – tutaj uczyniliśmy wyjątek. Plecaki dla jednostek milicyjnych staną się regułą przy naszych figurkach.

Kolejną jednostką do wojny secesyjnej, która będzie rzeźbiona jest kawaleria spieszona, zarówno dla Unii, jak i Konfederacji. Przygotowujemy także pierwsze okręty, które pojawią się w dodatku BW-Grant, a także Brytyjczyków, ale o tym napiszemy już innym razem.
Przedstawione w tym artykule zestawy uzupełniają figurki żuawów i piechoty w pozycjach strzelających, które nie dawno się ukazały.
Mamy nadzieję, że nowe zestawy przypadną Wam do gustu.

Today we would like to present five new sets in 6 mm scale, which will soon be available for the game Gods of War – Lee and others. All of them have been delayed due to various technical problems, but finally - with great pleasure - we would like to show resin castings - masters - to these miniatures.
These sets are:
- Confederate Cavalry.
- Union Cavalry.
- Marks of patrols / hidden units for the Confederation.
- Marks of patrols / hidden units for the Union.
- Union Militia.
Let's start with sets 1 and 3.
Confederate Cavalry and patrol markers / hidden units for the Confederation.

The set contains 2 sculptures of cavalrymen, an officer (with binoculars in hand), a trumpeter and a standard bearer. The privates were sculpted in skirmisher poses. An inspiration for them is an engraving depicting shooting cavalry. Instead of charging, they conduct a fire fight from the saddle. Because there are already figures on the market in the scale of 6 mm whether standing with sabre, or charging, we wanted to create something new, attractive, and at the same time historically correct. Hence inspiration with this engraving.
At the same time, the same figures will be used to create a second, much-needed set - markers of hidden units and patrols.
Until now, printed circles were used as markers, which is not entirely aesthetic. Some time ago, we introduced round 3 cm diameter bases - all with this set in mind.
The patrol set will contain 8 officers and 8 standard bearers. It is best to put the marker / patrol number on the banner. In this way, the patrols will be very aesthetic on the battlefield.
Of course, you can mix them with other figurines to achieve an aesthetic effect. We hope that you will like this solution.

Similarly to the Confederation's cavalry set, we have two privates in shooting poses, an officer with a saber and a revolver, a trumpeter and a standard bearer. Once again, the standard bearer and the officer will be available in a separate set for Union patrols.

Finally, the last set - Union Militia.

It is a classic infantry set - 5 different stripes with privates, a command stripe with a private, two flag sergeants and an officer, and a separate stripe with drummers.
We wanted the militiamen to receive separate, cool figures. The problem was that very soon the state militia began to wear the same uniforms as the regular army (in the Union) or what was available (in the Confederacy - like a regular army). To distinguish them, we decided to use the uniforms worn in 1861, that is at the beginning of the war, by the 7th New York State Militia regiment. The uniforms were a bit different, and in addition were gray (except officers)! To facilitate the recognition of militia units on the battlefield, we decided to equip soldiers with backpacks. Then even when the militiamen will be painted in blue colors, it will be very easy to distinguish them due to backpacks. During the Civil War, soldiers always took off their backpacks going to the battle - here we made an exception. Backpacks for militia units will become the rule for our miniatures.

The next unit for the Civil War, which will be sculpted, is the umounted cavalry in skirmish positions, both for the Union and the Confederacy. We are also preparing the first ironclads that will appear in Gods of war - Grant, as well as the British units (another add-on), but we will write about it another time.
The sets presented in this article complement the figures of zouaves and infantry in firing positions, which have not long ago appeared.
