The time has finally come! After years of running demo games I was able to convince enough players to the system to co organize the forst dedicated FSD event in Poland (maybe even first dedicated ever?!)
8 players, quite a few interested people moving along, four tables and lots of nicely painted miniatures!
My demo table was quickly occupied by a Reclaimed vs Enlisted match!
The ruined table saw a lot of Enlisted vs Reclaimed action! ( The two factions were the most popular choices on all the tables).
Pictures show the last two yables empty but that was just a temporary state!
Some dynamic close-ups (I have a new camera so making those was much much easier)!
We also did a little bit of testing Behemoths
Here in a 40 pts game against Reclaimed
The standard scenario of data cache retrievals
The small Enlisted Behemoth is ... Not really to my liking. Maybe in an open field it would make more sense, but in a heavily urbanized terrain paying 20 pts for a unit that shoots every other turn is not something I would consider worth it.
Maybe it was the points limit total (40) or the lack of a valid Behemoth scenario, but I'm not convinced they are a regular valid option for normal play :)
Once I got the intro game behind my belt I supported the guy's in their game.
60 pts brawl. Enlisted had the big Behemoth and a few units while Tech had their small one with a bunch more units
All in all a very nice event, quite the interest and a lot of good gaming!
FAQ from the event (answered almost on the spot by The Lazy Forger himself:
1)
wardens x means that I can move x bases
Or x units composed of y bases
Soo with warden I can move one imp base or two imp bases
Wardens are all single base
So warden 3 you can move three bases of wardens in total
But there's no concept of warden unit
Can cluster shots target the same unit
3) Behemoth questions
Can I contest an objective with a behemoth using a subsystem or only the core system?
Another one popped up!
4 & 5)
Does it affect the core move system
Yeah, core move is affected
Idea Is that broken armour really gets in the wheels
One more thing. Lets say that he hits me with an 8 in the armour card. He hits a previously wounded system so it passes to the core
Does that mean that I save the core against a hit of 8 with regular d10 -ap
Or does he just roll a d6 for effects?
Sorry for the unexpected spam/dump

Oh it rolls the D6 directly!!
Point is that you still need to damage the front to go there
So it's still extra cover
